Riding in North Carolina ?
Going to Brown Mtn tomorrow afternoon to ride a little. I have rode there a lot as it is only about 30 miles from the house. Uwharrie once, riding is OK I just don't like riding in rocks continously. Never been to Crotan, but have heard that the trails aren't marked very well, and that the rangers love to give tickets to people off the trails. There is some places down your way to ride, I'm not familar with them, go to www.atvnc.com and check them out. I don't know if you have checked out the trails section from the home page on this site but if gives a good assement of all the trails listed. Congradulations on the wheeler, hope you have someone to ride with, be safe and have fun. This sport is addictive.

Have not been in over a month, but we ride uhwarrie all the time. We usually go up on Friday's and camp out till Sunday. Have been doing it for about 3 years now and love it.
Rode Brown Mountian once and did not like it due to the trails were one way traffic only. Other than that we had fun.

The Croatan isnt so bad.....better bring a friend and a tow strap though. Ive got a 2005 Vinson 500 4x4 and got stuck on more than one occasion. As far as the Rangers.....just dont act stupid. When on the main road, stick to the edge and drive like you got some since. Ive got pics of a recent trip there on 10-30-04. Trying to post them now. If you need more info feel free to ask.
