I'm heading out to MotoCove near Winchester this Friday. Like to hear more about this Ford Valley, what are the signs? do they say ATV trails?

I know that i'm resurrecting this Thread from the dead, but where the heck is this place??? I found the road on the map, but how far down the road is it? What is it like? I hate to drive all that way for nothing or not be able to find it. Is it still open to the public??? Any info is appreciated.

Hello all! I am from sterling, va. and I was kinda curious if you guys are talking about behind the post office along 606? If so that place is nice and all I have been cought everytime I have been there. I'm not really sure who it belongs to but I have always been told by the cops that it is private property.

Well that sucks, maybe we should find out who it belongs to and ask permission or even pay a SMALL fee to use the otherwise worthless land.

Well if the county owns it, then it's public land. And unless its posted, it should be freerange I would think. Hmm...I might look further into this because I need a place closer to ride and from what I hear from you guys, it's not too bad a place.
