a i have been riding in m.d for years just got back in to it i have been every place but rt5 we have ben riding on rt100 cocacola dr and the pits it ok but we took a trip to tower city that was sweet the people are real nice and u can not ride it all in one day

 

it is not the best but in mount airy u can ride at the train tracks ther is alot of trails and thay have a cool track but park at aplace u know

 

i hear it's a spot out in bowie....you been out there?
or off 450 near jaspers.....this guy just told me about that spot....

 

any body go out this weekend? i decided to go at the last minute......finally got to see the other side of the pits when you go under the I-95 bridge......only this is my boy F*ucked up our fun with his "my King Quad can go anywhere" attitude and got stuck in this quick-sand type mud when we were trying to make our way to this trail. So we spent an hour trying to get him out.....my boys winch was messed up so that didn't work, then he got the bright idea to go to home depot and get some chains and take his truck to get it out and got his truck stuck before we could even get to where his quad was. we ended up calling a tow truck guy we knew and he got the truck out and used his tractor to go and fish the quad out. our trip was cut short so i guess i'll have to wait untill next weekend or one day after work this week to go do some more exploring........

i was coming home from riding couple months ago in waldorf, and i saw like 3 trucks with bikes coming out of the road by jaspers on the opposite side. dude i was on one of the joining properties to the pits and i saw a puddle like 4 feet wide and 8 feet long,i go in it with my scrambler,start sinking immediately,half buried the bike in this clay/mud,not pure clay,not pure mud and it had all this suction on it,took almost 3 hours to get it out.bout ruined the day.first time i got it stuck,hopefully the last.lol

 

yes there is. it is the old landrover test grounds u can still ride there it is cool for a day

 

i have not gone to pits in long time planing trip this weekend u got spot to park that is safe out there

 

there is a place over near capital raceway in crofton that goes from crofton to bowie all along these train tracks

 

that is the place i am talking about the right after capitol then u look for open path and make left on to path it is like a littel hill. let go

 

yea some dude told me about a trail that you go over a little hill then you can follow the train tracks......is the riding good? if so i might have to check it out!
