Hey, Im in southern maryland and am looking to hook up with people to ride somewhere. I ride a 2000 Banshee. Ive had no luck getting with people from this area using myspace, craiglist, and other means. I did have a chance to ride with my buddy in calvert co and when i was driving home i saw 3 dudes with quads loaded in their trucks. Well i followed them and we stopped at the wawa and talked a little atvs and stuff. Then i asked if i could tag along with them and they were like naa. I thought that us riders in the area know how hard it is to find places to ride and stick together, guess i was mistaken. Id just assume sell the darn atv's and get some jetskis or something. anyway if anyone wants to ride somewhere or make a trip somewhere, im game, email me at wilkie610@aol.com

Hey Guys, I rode illegally in Deleware and got a $25 ticket. After adding court costs, it was still cheaper than a lot of places you can pay to ride.

 

My first post. I live in Central MD near DC. Ive been to coca cola drive and the pits, and honestly to me its not worth it. I drive to PA anyone heard of Rausch Creek?? That place is pretty fun...5 tracks; 2 quad/bike, 1 bike only, and 2 80cc and below tracks, with miles of trails....and a nasty rocky hill climb...its a 2hr drive but very fun...I goto W.Va at Tomahawk...its not bad...only one track and trails but its different.

Basically I am down to ride where ever but no one around here seems like they are with it...anyone out there looking to ride?? Hit me up here on at yahoo...

He know this is a old post me and two of my friends ride the powerlines off of route 228 in Waldorf and were getting bored with it and are about to take a trip to buddy's of anyone would wanna fork out the money to just have some fun for a day if interest just email me at medgar71092@gmail.com or if I wanna come to us we also have a relative that lives off the chesapeake pipe line. No illegal parking for either our houses are around that and have seen no cops ever if interested just shoot me an email hope to see someone soon!!

 

The "neighbors" apparently are angry and the cops are now being called on riders every weekend at the laurel pits. It's not safe anymore. I saw 4 cops impound a silver toyota there last weekend.

 

Wow, people still ride at the Laural Pits? I assumed that place was long gone due to construction of home subdivisions and or commercial building. My suggestion is to look for some designated Off-road parks. You may have to pay about $15 - $20 a day but it's much better than having to find a safe parking spot and running away from cops and security all the time. lol

P. S. Does anyone still ride atv's? I got with the times and got myself a SxS (Honda Talon 1000x) and I love it! I also moved to Northern Alabama since 2012 and love it here! Good luck man!
