Hey dude, you should have PM'd me! I know, maybe you didn't know I was going. Anyway, I was about to go up there with "Lovinmyraptor350" but I had to cancel due to a friends bachelor party being pushed up a week. I still plan on going up there soon, let me know if you want to come along "Lovingmyraptor350" is going too. "Husky100" is usually very responsive to all his emails and PM's, he must have gotten really busy.

 

Went to the Laurel Pits this past Sunday with another friend that knows most of the trails there. Had an awesome time mainly because I tried going up hills that I normally wouldn't do. I just have about 10 hrs or less under my belt so it's an acheivement for me.

Anyway, planned to meet up with "EigerMike" but never quite got the chance to see another in the hundreds of acres the Pits has to offer. I'm really glad though that we didn't come across any 5.0!

 

We had the best ride ever!!!! RacerDan who post threads on this site was there. What a great time!! I hope some more of you guys are able to make the next ride. This ride was for the experienced rider as the mountains and hills tested the riders and the quads. Other then needing fuel several times throughout the day we were able to log just about 96 miles +/- 1 or 2 miles. If you want to go and I give you a date you must plan ahead. I am already getting ready for my next ride in about 2 weeks. I do check my email more often then messages on this site so you may want to email me direct. Other then my 750BF running like crap we had a great ride with almost no coal dust. I am planning on putting my bike back to stock for awhile so if anyone has a place to get kawi parts cheap let me know and I will give you my part # and if you could check on that for me I would appreciate it. Thanks again for all your help and I do apologize if I missed any messages prior to this last ride. But keep in mind we ride every weekend. I can only ride every other weekend due to my work schedule.

 

i was looking for you and your friend but never cought up to you guys and i did not charge my phone the night before and my battery went dead, we'll catch up next time......

 

If you want to know how the ride was and would like a second opinion ask RacerDan. Hes on this site as well. I will keep you guys posted when I will be heading up next.

anyone been out? after i hit a tree w/ my raptor and bent the steering stem and busted the tierods up i took my 96 warrior to the tomahawk mx track in wv and blew 2 shocks , i am having a bad run of luck

 

Hey dude, sorry to hear about your luck lately. Order those parts and install them soon so that we can hook up and go riding one day.

I went to the "Pits" a couple of weeks ago and had a blast! Maybe we could hook up there one day. I just have a hard time finding guys to ride with lately. Don't really think it's a good idea to ride alone....

actually parts where here today after work so im gonna get on that, i actually used to live in montgomery county and rode the pits in the early/mid 90s back when there wasnt even anything around and ammandale road was a little 2 lane road with nothing on the other end you could park on the side of the road and seldom saw anyone but that was a long time ago atleast 10 years ago, i hadnt been there for a few years when i bought my first atv in early 04 when i went back and then i got a ticket so i decided to stay away but when you live in md you have to be hardcore to ride cause with so few riding spots its either gonna hit your wallet with admission costs or you wallet with the gas to get there, but im always looking for somewhere new i actually ran into some guys the day i wrecked my bike and they where tellin me raush creek is pretty awesome so i really wanna check that out but ill hit you up when im back in order!
