I hope the powers that be here in MN wake up and realize the big bucks we ATV riders spend for our recreation, gas, camping/lodging, food, entertainment, etc. , that all goes over the border due to lack of decent trails here. I have to drive anywhere from 2.5 to 5 hrs. to get to decent trails, so I usually end up just going over the border to get to the longer, better marked trails, and the attitude towards ATVers is a lot better in Wisconsin. I know a lot of people have had bad experiences with ATVs wreaking property, and that needs to stop, but cutting back or eliminating legal riding areas is not the answer, that just forces more illegal actions in the name of the sport that hurts us all even more. Compromise between riders/non riders needs to be made to make sure we all can live together, so we can keep our hard earned money working for us here at home, instead of taking it other places just to ride our machines. All those millions could be used toward trail maintaince, new trails, and decent enforcement to keep the trails open.
