Who's got some pix of the huge bowl at St. Anthony's ID? How does it compare to some of the other Western dune areas?

 

Just came from there this weekend. This place rocks!!! The huge bowl is called Devil's Dune and it is huge. I can't compare to other big places but I was quite impressed. The bowl is about 350 to 400 feet high on one side and maybe 150 feet on the lower side. You can run it flat out in top gear since there are no abrupt changes; it is very round. I had one shot left in my camera but couldn't get to a point where I could get the whole bowl in one picture... One of these days I will post the pics. Devil's Dune is at the very West end of the dunes about 11 miles from Red Road as the crow flies. It's about 1/2 mile past Chokecherry hill. St. Anthony is way cool in general. Lots of huge steep hills, bowls and jumps. I can't wait to go back.

 

Trust me you don't need to see a picture, the dunes here are HUGE! If you come up for the weekend and ride for a few days on the big sands you'll be praying for your nuts to drop for the next week or so.
