I would love to hear how your brother got the taxpayers to pay for the Raptor. Let us know how the riding was at Tri County. I wanted to go down there last weekend but I didn't have the time.

Well my, my brother and Klier. two posts up. are heading to Tri County the weekend of the 16-17.

Anyway, my brother, or half brother.. his dad was in the first gulf war... got shot in the leg....blah blah some legal things.. my brother was supposed to recieve a pension or something from this or whatever, so he was supposed to get about $400 a month since he was about 5.. but they didnt start paying this until he was 15.. so for the past 2 years he's been getting $400 a month from the state of Arkansas.. cause we are originally from Arkansas and Texas... well they owed him about 10 years of this back pay crap.. and they had a lawyer fighting to get it from the state.. after a long time of fighting and what not.. he gets a check in the mail for about $6 grand.... now we dont know how much the lawyer kept.. do the math..
$400 a month x 12 months = $4800 a year
$4800 x about 10 years = $48 Grand....
ANd matt only got the 6 grand.. LOL but he was happy anyway...
Now his dad is remarried and has another kid.. so that $400 a month gets split.. he only gets $200 a mont.. and he will only get that till he's 18, or done with college, etc.

He dont have a vehicle.. hes 17 now bout to be a senior.. and instead of using this 6 grand on a truck.. he gets a 2002 raptor for $4 grand.. so hes got about $2 grand left for a truck... wait not even that.. he needs gear, new tires, ane etc.. so hes got very little for a vechicle..
So he must depend on his older brother, with the slower 250ex and his truck to haul around his quad.. end of story..

Talk to u later

Heheh, you guys were insane out there. Maybe one of these days I'll be that good... Good to hear your buddy got his Scrambler running again.

Yes, it was quite the coincidence meeting you guys out there on Saturday. Glad to see there are a few other diehards around willing to have fun in the rain

I have a small trip report on my blog at .http://spaces.msn.com/members/bryguy -- Unfortunately, no action pics, because it was raining about the whole time

Klier, that was a great write up of your weekend ride at Tri-County. Makes me wish I had the YFZ450 back together so I could have went riding this weekend. The Tri-County Pit can be a lot of fun. I'm surprised my brother and I haven't seen you guys there. We have been going there almost every weekend during the summer for the past four years (except when Bauwers Pit was open). Maybe some time we will run into you guys.

Thanks man. Actually, I used to mainly go to Bauer's Pit myself, both on the truck and quad side. This trip to Tri-County was my first. I will definitely be going back though, hopefully soon! I'm sure we'll see you out there.
