Well, spring is in the air.

Does anyone have any good ideas yet for dates and places to ride?

I'd personally like to check out the Gilbert area, since I've never been there before. Just about any weekday or weekend will work, as long as we get it organized a few weeks ahead of time.

Lots of quads out and about on Sunday!

It doesnt matter to me...Danbury, Nemadji, Red Top, Red Dot, Gilbert.
What time period are we thinking about, because lots of trails are closed in april and into may, because of the spring thaw. I believe Nemadji is open year round, and so is gilbert (only weekends, til it warms up). Im not positive about this, and if im wrong let me know, but i think danbury is open til the end of march...could still fit that in . Or do we want to wait for warmer temps?

we haven't been making much progress on Roy's lately. There were a couple snags along the way so we'll have to retool our thinking. I am hoping to get another club meeting scheduled soon so we can get the ball rolling again. The only hope I see for Roy's to open this summer is if a club gets a lease as well as a CUP, which Roy has already had revoked (he was due in court today @ 8:30). It could be a tough battle, but our biggest problem right now is $$$$$.

A club in the metro area should adopt it as their GIA project.they would be close enough to assist in organization and management of it.A raffle type fundraiser may just be the answer to raising some monies for the project and club and the good forum members here for the labor part of the cup improvements. On a side note Dave,we had a club meeting last night and one of our members has already taken the instructor course so i prolly wont go up and take it.

I might be interested in a Nemadji ride around April 1.

I met some of you guys up there on the big ride a few years back (I had the 250R 3 Wheeler). Lepp, I've met down at Roy's with MudStud.

Anyway, my buddy has a cabin about 5 miles off the Gandy, so that works perfect for us. We probably have between 5 - 7 riders total.

Keep me posted please. My Email

I'm up for a Nemadji ride again - why not now that fruitjacket has something a little less noisy this year.
