Ct riders and MA registration for state parks
I'm 32 and just bought a 2004 Honda Sportrax 250ex. I live in Northford, CT and am looking for groups to ride with. I've heard CT riders is a great group but they currently aren't taking any new members. If anyone is interested in hooking up to go ride or knows of any clubs please let me know. I've also heard that you can register your bike in MA and ride in the state parks, does anyone know how I would go about doing so. Any help would be greatly apprecited. Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave,
Registration is not that big a deal, they just want your money (forty bucks!). But, it can mean the difference between a ticket and a tow if you get caught where you're not supposed to be
check here for info... they also have doownloadable applications linked here. To be clear, there are only 5 state parks currently open to ATVs, and the season is over (I think it's May through November).
I've never ridden the 5 parks, but have always heard good things about them, I think 4 of them are in western MA, and one is northeast...
Any other ?'s, just ask-
Mike
