I know a lot of peaple love the muddy trails, but why is the other place closed in the riding area..cause i really love the jumps and the curves and also the lake????

I was just down there a couple of weeks ago and the only thing closed down is the parking lot on the other side. You can still ride over there just cant park there. The lake is way up and the trails were super muddy. We were the only people down there that day it was a Monday and we rode all day. I do like the drag strip that has been made on the backside and the hills back by the old railroad tracks are a blast. Let me know if I am wrong about the parking lot being closed but there were no postings saying not to ride over there.

If you head down the old railroad tracks on the south side you canthere are some trails that head west the main trail is pretty wide up on top of the hill there is an open field the track is atleast 200yrds long and about 50 yrds wide We were out racing my Raptor and a yfz. Had a blast......

Deepwater, huh? I've never been or heard of it for that matter. Guess I'll have to check it out someday. I found some info on the web about it, so I got what I need. One question, is there camping allowed here?

Just how shallow does it have to be for you guys to consider it to be deepwater? I mean when I lived(?) in Missouri and Kansas I never found any water that I would call really deep.

There is a camp ground a bout a mile or two down the road from the riding area. You have to trailer your quads down there because it is a $500 fine for riding on the road and they dont mess around. The water is pretty deep it is located right on Truman lake so when it rains it is a mess. When I had my Big Bear I have been down there when there was nothing but gas cap and handle bars above water. Most of the time the mud holes or water holes are at least seat high. The bad part is that the water just sits there and gets a really nice aroma about it. Great place for sport and utility quads.

Oh, you mean deep shallow water. The water in front of my house is over 300 feet deep and this is the shallow in, up north it's over 600 feet deep, we call that deep water. What you have we call mudholes.
