Default Coal Creek OHV, TN & the Mojave

I'm planning on taking my atv on vacation with me this year when we go to Gatlinburg....I've been checking out the Coal Creek OHV area and that's mainly where I want to go....I've got a '05 Brute Force 650 and my neice will be going with me she's got a 2001 Mojave....You guys think the Mojave will do alright there? Any particular trails there you could recommened not to take the Mojave down?

Thanks
Chris

The trails there marked difficult or extreme she better stay off. The moderate trails are great, but change and can get rough over a couple of weeks. Probably the best thing is to go to the windrockatv website and keep up with the posts, especially when it is closer to the time you are going.

Windrock is a blast! Like homer said watch the extreme trails. One that 2wd's had a little trouble with was #16 if I remember correctly. I haven't been in a while and the trails are maintained, so it might be better. I'm hoping to head down there this coming weekend. Buy a map because it is a big place!

16 has been groomed, very nice. Stay on the south side til ya get to know it. Its big, 72,000 acres!!!!!!! We had a 200sx and a 250ex (10 and a 13yo) with us and did a lot of trails. Trail 12 has 19 creek crossings and some nice rock climbs, but if the water is up stay out. A trip to the windmills is a must, all the way up a gravel road with yer ears popping. Then several trails off to each side of the mountain back down.
