I am trying to find the directions to the ATV trails in Bankhead Forrest. Anyone have a map?

where will you be coming from?
i have been there many times but need
to know from which direction you will
coming from

 

I am coming from Athens in Limestone County.

ok i am not good with directions so bear with me

take i-65 south to hwy 157 (first cullman exit)
turn right go towards moulton
take 157 approx 10-12 miles
you will think you are lost but you are not
you will come to west piont (traffic light)
still continue west on 157 you will go up & down a few hill
till you come to county road 1101 at battlegroud
ther will be a pawn shop with a bunch of lifts cranes and small loaders on
your right turn there
after you have taken a left you will follow this util it dead end at hwy 41
you will pass an exotic hunting farm with large fences after you pass the farm
there will be a church on your right take a right on hwy 41
go till you see the forest raod it will bear off to the left
there will be a small grave yard to the left of the dirt road
follow the dirt road till you see the signs or the parking lot
for atv trails

I know this area a little. We used to go to Smith Lake this way. Is it near Looney's Tavern?

no looney's tavern is on 278 going to addison
the exit before that is 157
