Hey there, I from Ponoka , about an hour drive straight south of Edmonton on Highway 2. I ussally just do allot of trail riding, mud bogging and etc. I have a Honda 350 4x4 utlitly quad so I don't do too much extreame riding or racing. In a way I wish I also had a sport quad.
I ussally head out west of Rocky Mountain House ( about a 2 hour drive from my house) for a day trip or stay a few nights and offroad camp there. Awsome trails there and free camping. Thats what I like.
How about you. What kind of riding do you like to do? How old are you? You from Edmonton?

Im from Hinton alberta born and raised here, and i personaly think it is wild ridding around here. We have 16km of dunes, mountains and tones of skeg trails. I gess it all depends on what type ridding you enjoy. But i am a quadding junkie and i love it here!!

Wow this in an old posting, suddenly some news post.
MetalMulishaGurl69 - I never been quadding in the Hinton area before. But I heard allot good about. I was going to check it out this summer but anyone I went ridding with didn't want to travell that far. Probbally only like 4.5 hour drive from my house.
Outlawrider - I never been to Vega or Barhead or Westlock area yet either. Something to keep in mind though. Thanks
Normally I ussually go west to the Nordegg and Big Horn Dam area. Lots of very nice trails out there. Great places for random camping too.

I highly recomend Vega if you like sand. I've also heard Brule Lake has some pretty wicked dunes to just west of hinton I think.

Everyone i know that have been to Vega and Brule, say that Vega is not as big as Bule and it is full of woops. Brule has skeg, woops, plus a beautiful view and a lake running the entire length of it, It's just beautiful out there. I might be going to Vega before the snow falls and i will let you know what i prefer.
