Default West Virginia Trails?

Hey,

I just found this web page about the West Virginia trail system. Anyone ever ride there? I'm looking for some reviews and suggestions for places to stay.

It'd be about a 10-12 hour drive for me so I'd hate to go and be dissappointed.

here's the link

Start planning your trip now, it's well worth it! I'd recommend setting aside at least 5 days, two for the commute in your case and three for riding. The more days you can devote to riding the better of course. Check out my Hatfield McCoy ride reports and photos via the links in my signature...

We go twice a year best place we have ever ridden.Kathryns kabins is a great place to stay, they have a link off of trailsheaven.com. The trailhead at kathrnys kabins(forget name) is the least rocky we have seen you can haul azz on this trail system. Not many hard trails at this trailhead. Bearwallow is kinda rocky.

That would be the Water Ways trailhead. If you like Water Ways you would probably like the Pinnacle Creek trails too (Castle Rock trailhead). It has more rock than Water Ways but not as much as some of the other H/M trail systems. There is some nice scenery to be had there as well...
