Our riding area is very limited here.I'm going to Friendship,TN. tomorrow for a drag race.Anybody want to go?Friendship is near Dyersburg. We also go to a town near Sikeston,MO.It's a 300 ft. track.I would like to go to Bonne Terre this year.I've heard of a track in Kentucky.Heard they had a 300ft. and a 600ft. track.

Town near sikeston happen to be Blodgett? I may be there this year, it just depends on the promotor.

Daren, I will be around the shop this morning. If you are going to St. Joe tommorrow, I have something you need to try. It won't take too long to bolt it on........are you scared? If your scared, say your scared. You know what they say, its like a hot chick with an STD.......

Well I did not do very good at the races last night. Can you say smoked?LOL if I could find any humor in it.The best it run was a 5.28.I run a 5.4 with stock carbs. and Toomeys.Happy,uh no.
It seems faster. It tried really hard to put me in the railing. It was still hitting the wheelie bar 3/4 of the way down the track with ease. One racer over at TN. told me the bike was loading up on me.It looked like a mosquito truck. We moved the clip up one on the needle. It seemed to help a little. He told me it could be how I was staging. He said his would do the same thing. He said while staging to keep it at 3/4 throttle, then pin it right before launching. His would smoke alot but would eventually clear up and then you better hold on.He was one of the guys that seemed honest.
HELP,HELP,HELP!

Let me summarize my St. Joe experience today. . .

Never got to test the new pipes. Now I am trying to figure out if the engine was too lean causing a backfire that broke 2 reed petals on the left cylinder VForce cages, or if the reed broke and caused the backfire. What's everyones thoughts?? I believe that it was too lean, backfired and therefore busted the reeds. Guess I'll have to get the new reeds and try again. I was very angry with it today, but hopefully I'll get it lined out and get over it.

I'll let you all know next time that I go (and the Banshee is running right).

Later,

Daren
