Where to desert ride?
#1
I am new both to this forum and riding. We, my wife and I, live out in the Antelope Valley and want to head out this weekend. We went out to Jawbone last week and had a blast. Is there any other location near Jawbone that is "new user friendly"?

sorry, not jawbone. i meant to say that there is a road on the out skirts of apple valley where a friend of mine would ride. it is a fire road that takes you up to big bear. it is about 3 hrs up,have lunch and a 2.5 hr ride back. if you look at my pics. you will see our two bikes and big bear is in the back ground. all i know is that one of the roads is called central. you go south and then trun left and the road will trun to dirt. go about 2/3 miles and trun right to the fork in the road. go left and then park and ride. we are planning to go back this summer. i will try to get more info.
