Heading to monroe Wisconsin this Saturday to the cheese trail. Does anyone one know where to get registrations and is there plenty of places to fuel up or do you need to bring fuel? And are there places to stop and eat or should we pack lunches sorry its my first trip there, kind of winging it so any info would be helpful.

 

I am not sure where Monroe is but last year when we went up to Black River Falls we just stoped at a Walmart and got the permits at the sporting goods counter.

 

I was there a few years ago- there is a large gas station down the trail a few miles from monroe (right on the trail) where you can fill up. Also there is a gas station in another town down the line (darlington maybe?) where there are some places to stop and eat also. I would guess that you should be able to pick up a pass at one of those places....
