Come on, folks, let's do this right, and not screw up a good thing! Let's not sour this great deal by jumping the gun, and causing the whole thing to go down in flames.....

Thanks for the info Morvac. I would love to go riding down there one weekend. I gotta try and find a weekend where I'm not busy or have previous arrangements. I'll post on on here a week in advance or more so maybe some of us can meet up somewhere for a ride on the trail.

I do have a permit, and those who do not and ride on the HM-trail can get into some trouble I think...not sure what they are doing...but don't really want to find out. Be sure to get that permit before you ride, otherwise you probably will come across a ranger that may question you. As for the trails other than HM-Trail, they can be private property but for for those who are in WV and read these posts...they know what im talking about. Gas well roads, old mountain roads, or logging roads....about everyone in their neighbor ride them or hunt around them. But be beware of what roads you choose because of the many mining companies that own land. Any road that not permitted will have the appropriate signs stating just that. Ride right and protect our areas that we are just now beginning to have.
For all those out of WV, come over this weekend and ride.....should be a great weekend and see the HM-Trail website for events going on! Cya on the trails.
