99% of the trails up here are closed until May15th.
If it is open it probably isn't an official ATV trail.

i think well hit the rocck trail this weekend only one month from today everything open yyeeeeehhhaaaaaaa i ccant wait (my leg should be good then)

Is there a lot of ridding in Sanford aera? If so how many miles and what kind of terrain?

I think all established trails (read: trails specifically intended for ATV's and funded with state $$$) are indeed closed. But if you are like me, and have a camp in an area with 100's of miles of old logging roads that are not usually marked in any way for ATV's or snowmobiles, then I think you're ok. But I could be wrong about that, some say the law is very specific about the ENTIRE state being closed during mud season. It's not stopping me this weekend though... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] But I won't be saying where I'll be riding just in case some of you fine folks in Maine's law enforcement community are reading this... Could you fellas help me out with info on trails in Maine please?
I'd like to come up for a dual purpose trip. Riding and LOBSTAAA!!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

In 1992 I was in kennebunk and Kennebunkport. What a beautiful part of the country!
