I'd like to know that one. They have a big one in Limestonne in the Fall. They were talking about a Spring run too

Default Salamanca, Ny dice run

I don't know about Salamanca, but understand that this run is close to there:

Saturday, September 17, 2005 - ATV Dice Run

The dice run is run by and benefits the Limestone Vol. fire Dept. in Limestone, N.Y. We're located in Cattaraugus County, on Rt. 219, near the NY/PA border, 4 miles south of I-86, Exit 23. The run is on Saturday, Sept. 17th. Cost is $15.00 per driver. The ride is 35 miles long, and last year we had a lot of compliments from several riders from all over about how nice of a ride it was. There is food/drinks available on the run, approx. 1/2 way thru. People are allowed to bring a cooler or whatever they please. There is a chicken BBQ available at the end of the run, not sure of the cost of that yet, but it's going to be $6.50 to $7.00, depending on what we get charged for the chicken. Last year we started registration at 9:00 and said that the ride started at noon, although once the machines are registered, they are allowed to leave and they are allowed to go thru more than once. The trails that we use are not open to the public, we get permission from the land owners for this dice run. We do have insurance, but the people that ride must sign an insurance waiver and must wear a helmet. Last year we had exactly 440 machines and it went great. We do allow motorcycles and probably had five on the run last year. Overnight camping is available. For any other information or questions, people can call me at 716-925-8813.

Thank you.

Mike Soper, Fire Chief
Limestone Vol. Fire Dept.
