DEC PUBLIC MEETINGS
Several more public meetings are scheduled for the coming weeks. The DEC encourages people to come out and voice their opinions.
There is a meeting set for May 5th in Syracuse at the State Fairgrounds. That's from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
And another is scheduled for May 11th at the State Office Building in Watertown. That's also from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

IMPORTANT NEW YORK - LAND USE
I am attending the hearing in Tupper Lake this afternoon. It will be interesting to see how it goes. I am planning to speak about the lost revenue $$ for the state of NY. The economic impact of the Hatfield McCoy trails, in WV, is $127 million/ year. That is huge and NY state is missing the boat by not creating a sustainable trail system to attract tourists, and encourage more ATV users in the state to register.
