Default Coral Pink Dunes and the Cinders

I'm planning a family vacation trip from central California to Coral Pink Dunes in Utah and the Cinders in Arizona with a side trip to the Grand Canyon, in mid june. Anyone going to be there then? Any advice? How about other riding areas nearby? Thanks!!

Default Coral Pink Dunes and the Cinders

700Quadman,
Pink Coral Dunes is one our favorite places. The dunes are a State park and have a nice campground. Campground has water, showers, flush toilets. Area is remote and nearest town is Kanab. Reservations can be made on line for a campsite. Pink Coral has sand riding and a few nice trails. Other nearby trail riding that we enjoy is north of the dunes near Bryce Canyon. The Paunsagaunt and Fremont trail systems are excellent with fantastic scenery. Paunsaguant trails border Bryce Canyon so you are able to see some of the same formations. Fremont trails are more mountain trails, some research will show you that the Fremont will take you to Casto Canyon which is REALLY beautiful. Kings Creek campground is a central point for either trail system.
Enjoy!!
