Looking for a place to take a 3-4 day ride. Either in Minnesota or Wisconson. An area that as campsite, aggressive trails, hill climbs, and of course water. A place that would be hard to cover in 3-4 days.

 

My 2 choices would be Clarck Co. & Park Falls Area. Both are in WI.

When in park falls make sure you check out the dead horse slough trail. Great trail. I'm going there this weekend.

 

Dead Horse Run would be a good choice too, and the Flambau Trails east of park falls.

 

You could try the dusty trails system.

Very near there is a place called McCaslin Mountain, excellent technical riding. Nice campground as well.

I was on the web last night and found http://www.ironcountywi.com. It claimed to be the largest place to ride ATV's in WI. Had something like 250 miles of trails. Anybody know anything about it?

 

That would be the Hurley and Mercer areas. I'm headed that way for Memorial Day weekend. Excellant trails and lots of mud.
