Its been a long time since Ive been on a 4-wheeler, but I just picked up a 2002 Yamaha Raprot 660R and I need a place to ride thats more than the few acres in New Albany.
I know about Wayne National Forrest and the trails down in Athens...but what Im after is someplace close thats a good ride - open areas, trails, mud and hills - thats a little closer than 2 hours away.
Anyone have anything???

THERE ARE A COUPLE PLACES I KNOW ABOUT.
Both are on 23 south. First is just south of Sciota downs. If you are headin south on high you'll pass Sciota About a mile past is big Walnut Creek. There is a real small sign for the creek just as you hit the bridge. Go to the light past it and turn around ,. Hit the pull off Right before you go over the bridge. NOt a big place but nobody bothers you.
The second is hard to describe But it is on 23 near there and there are some nice steep hills. It's the old Quarry you can see from the freeway. Only problem is There is a strip of property between walmart and the quarry about 50 yds wide that you have to cross. There were to many people being asses there and tarrin brodies in it and now they wont let you park on it or anything. But I think we are gonna try an new way to get back there. There are crawler trucks back there all the time and they gotta get back there some other way then the trail we were goin in on. I'll keep you posted
