Yes they do have a weekend "visitor" pass that is a one time use. They do allow dirt bikes but the most I have seen on a weekend is 5-10 bikes the rest are ATV's. They are currently offering a special membership that is $800 one time fee and then annual maintenance fee is $290. They don't require insurance once you are a member. You can register up to 2 atv/bikes without providing any documentation but if you register over 2 you must provide proof of ownership on all. You can also bring a guest down for like $5 per day. The pools and all are free and their is a resturaunt on site that is excellent food and very resonably priced (about same cost as McDonald's).

I would be interested in getting more details from you about the riding at Cloud nine. We have membership papers there but have been wanting to talk with someone who has actually been. Please let me know if you can share more info. Regards,
Kelly

What are the reasonable rates you mentioned..? There is a place in Western Iowa that is offering the same type of thing..... They ask for insurance also and its $520 or so a year I think....

thanks,,

Nick
If you are paying 520 per year you need a new insurance company. My insurance is $75 a year full coverage on yamha bruin 4x4.

I'm paying 200 on a DS650. What is your insurance company?

Progessive. I use an indendant agncey called Calendar and Co. in Peoria. I have my Harley (200/yr)and motorhome (250/yr) though Progressive too. Seems that they are the best in our area when it comes to recreational use vehicles.

Hey.....

Okay... Sorry on the confusing post.... If you look a couple posts before he mentions reasonable rates for membership into the riding resort.-park.... Cloud Nine Ranch...I asked what the reasonable rates might be...

My comment was there is a place to ride called Timber Ridge in eastern iowa... Its a membership only ride resort-hunting park....It cost $ 520 a year to join, plus they require you to have insurance....

I would like to join something like that, however that a BIG price to pay without riding there first or at least be able to see what your getting for the money.....

Sorry for the confusing thoughts combining both ideas....

The membership is on sale right now for $800 and then it is about $300 per year after that, but you get 30 days free camping then it is only about $4 a day for 60 days...
