I am new to this forum but wanted to see if any of you are familar with Cloud 9 Ranch in Southwest, MO. I have been going there for awhile and just can't believe that I haven't seen it mentioned on this forum. I tried a search but couldn't find where anybody has talked about it. It is a really cool place to ride but it is a membership place, it is reasonable and has a lot of other oppurtunities besides just riding. Anyway, just thought I would see if anyone else has been there. I also like to ride at Chadwick and Finger Lakes.

It is more like Chadwick with over 10,000 acres of trails to ride with anytype of trail you could want. The ranch has always been ATV friendly so the trails are wide enough but it is 10 times better than Finger Lakes. There is also a trout stream running through the middle that you can fish or cross at various "fords". I have been riding for about 15years and it is the neatest place I have ever been. The main trails are easy and fun for all ages but the "rough" trails will test anyone.

I've never heard of it. How do get there, or how do I find out more about it. Sounds great, me and my buddies are looking for some new trails to ride. We're from the KC area and usually ride Deepwater, Finger Lakes, St. Joe, and some trails by our lake house at the ozarks.

Is there any dirt spots to do a little drag racing there or is it all trails?

There is a small "race track" that has about a 100 yd straight then into a nice "bowl" and then about a 100yd straight into a flat turn (in other words an oval track!!!) It is mostly trail riding...

well, the 100 yards in a straight line is good...the turn at the end might be tricky on a drag Banshee!

Do they allow a day-weekend pass to check everything out??? It would be nice to see what your paying for before hand..... Also do they allow dirtbikes also..?? I saw the website and it looks pretty amazing, with all the other stuff they offer...

What are the reasonable rates you mentioned..? There is a place in Western Iowa that is offering the same type of thing..... They ask for insurance also and its $520 or so a year I think....

thanks,,

Nick
