Am going to go there the end of Sept. Would like some input on where to set up base camp. We're(4) camping in tents. Did the storm get any trails ? We would like to ride for a week. Can we make all the trails in a week ? Just need all the info anyone can give. Thanks

Yes you can ride all the trails in a week . But you will not hit every trail on the map . Rockhouse alone would take 2 or 3 days. W e are headed down october 1st and staying in gilbert. Go to trailsheaven .com to check out camping spots. You will have a great time

Go to the Hatfield-McCoy Web site at www.trailsheaven.com and click on accomodations. Then you will see where there are some camping spots. I know Devil Anse and Twin Hollow are popular.
