I agree 420, I call Maryland " The can't do it state" If you want to ride around here you have to drive 3 hours + in any direction to get to a place!!!!!!! BTW <<<< Heading toward Kentucky in less than 3 weeks WoooooHoooooo A true ATV paradise ( sorry off topic)

Any one wana make a road trip in the future? I'm thinkin about hittin the dunes in Silver Lake Michigan. They were voted # 7 in Quad Magazine for top dune spots in the usa. It's a long haul but would be worth the trip. You can bring rv's camp out whatever. I think they got a website i'll get more details.

If you want to look it up or have the Google Earth program the adress is (9679, w silver lake rd , mears, mi, 49436)

Has any one heard of this place besides me?

it was voted #7 because their is six better places to ride . in 3 hours you'll ready to go home its just to small of a place to use that much effete to get there . big deal a fue sand hills and a make shift drag strip . i live in this state and for ATVs it sucks

Thanks!

I made the trip in and out of MD. Loved it, but it was quick. The wife was offered the job, up in the air as to taking it or not. Alot hangs on that decision. Thanks for the info, and if I do come, Ill be sure to keep some of that great west coast sand in the trailer for yall.

If milelage wasn't a factor i would pack my sh.it up and head to Pismo Dunes in cali. But since i don't want to drive 5000 fu.ckin miles i would rather drive 600 n go to Michigan.

And it can't suck for somone who's never rode dunes.

Only 600 to Michigan? Now that dont sound too bad. Hmmmmm. Thats shorter than a trip to Sand Mtn for me. Hmmmm. But they still aint the Oregon Dunes. Boy, we have it good here!
