Oklahoma Gold Rush
Where: Hallett Road Racing Circuit, Cimmaron 412 and highway 99 exit.
The Oklahoma Gold Rush Grand Prix racing event is one of the most unique events you will find anywhere in the country. Using 1.6 miles of the road course and combining that with woods riding and part of a natural motocross course. Last years lap was almost seven and a half miles in length and took some of the faster riders seventeen minutes to do a lap.
Based off of the old Elsinore Grand Prix racing events it is a throw back to the grand days of off-road motorcycle racing on a smaller scale. Of course it would be very hard to get a city to allow us to race through the streets in this day and age.
The event is open to motorcycles and ATV's and we even include a golf cart race if enough of them enter. One of the most popular and exciting races during the event is the team races that are held on Saturday the 5th. It is a three hour race with two man teams, you can switch off as the team wishes, every lap, every other lap or by time, it is strictly up to the team themselves to decide how they split up the race. They are broke up between ATV and motorcycles and the trophies are broken down by class. This year we included a father/son class which was very popular.
