Went over and checked the weather here for Fort Worth and we have SCATTERED THUMDERSTORMS this weekend on Saturday, grrrrr. This will affect some peoples riding this weekend. Hopefully the weather watchers dont know their job and it wont rain.

Well see this weekend, hope it doesnt cause my shee needs more than 5 minutes on it!

Hey, us 4x4 riders appreciate the rain!
Im trying to get some friends together to go to Rocky Ridge this coming Sunday. Due to the distance and my second job I cant get there till around noon but Id like to meet some of you. I usually park by the lake, white Chevy 3/4 ton reg cab.

HEHE, it looks so nice and clean im scared to get it dirty, lol. Well when and if the weather clears up and depending on how my weekend goes I may be able to get out and go riding.

You ever ride at Rocky Ridge Pflect?

May not be enough mud there for ya, hehe.

Seriously, hopefully I will be able to get out this sunday if they let us out of drill early (I hope).

All last Spring we had the same weather problems. I ended up saving a couple riding days by watching the weather forcast carefully, riding on Saturday if Sunday looked worse, or visa-versa, and also riding at locations away from approaching fronts or further ahead of clearing weather - usually head east/south to dodge approaching fronts and head north/west to get out into the clearing earlier. Also, headed to muenster just after rain rather than Rocky Ridge, due to the muddy conditions there and sand is not so bad when damp.

Hey dont sweat it. We have the same problem down here, the place I ride is flooded and I probably wont be able to ride for a long time.
