Anyone ride in Dallas Ft Worth Texas Area?

If you haven't been to Lake Murray yet, they now have a big sign (brown wood, like all stateparks seem to use) where you are supposed to turn right off of 70. It's also one of the places you can find to camp in the dark. All spots have concrete drives, picnic tables and grills. Some have water and electric, but those are taken on first come first serve basis.

Went to Lake Murray over the Christmas Holidays.... Barbara you were right. This is a great place to go if you like to RV Camp and ride. Emphasis on RV Camping. I can tell that this state park has gone out of their way to caiter to campers who like to ride dirt toys. The sites have nice level concrete pads, many with full hookups and long pull throughs.
The riding was pretty good with enough area to keep you entertained for several days. Yes we rode the same trails more than once, but one day my son and I rode 31 miles, and we didn't cover every trail there.
Being less than 2 hours from my house, we'll definately be going back.
The golden horse across the road, and the large brown wooden sign that said "Lake Murray ATV Area", made the place impossible to miss.

I am glad you had a good time there. I wanted to go myself but we went East instead. Some of my family bought 100 acres near Cedar Creek Lake & we rode our four wheelers on their property trying to make some trails. I hope to go back to Lake Murray soon though.

OMG!! People in the Dallas area that ride! There were some trails off of Lebanon and 4th Army in Frisco but they werent legal and got all gated up.
We have only riden there and have started looking for decent places. My brother-in-law and sister were not impressed with Marshall Creek at all.

I was not impressed with Marshall Creek either. It is way too crowded & too small now that they closed off half the trails. I like Lake Murray & Muenster Tx . They are the closest decent trails around here that I know of.
