Where is the closest dune to Minnesota? And, can you guys tell me one thing? What is riding in a dune like? Is it just a wide open area filled with sand?

 

Silver Lake Michigan or Idaho.

 

Not sure which dunes are the closest to you, but riding the dunes is great fun. You can climb one after the other in some places then some of it is wide open for drag racing. We go to Little Sahara State Park in Waynoka Oklahoma. We have to drive about 8 hours to get there, but it is well worth the trip.
