Default Washington state ride areas

Hello, I am new to these forums and have a question. As of now, I have two ATVs, a Polaris Trailblazer 250 and a Polaris Predator Limited Edition 500, and I am looking for some good riding areas in Washington state. I have two areas I go to, Reiter Pit and the Moses Lake Dunes, and am wondering if anyone knows of any sand dunes in my state. Also, if anyone knows of any areas that are more course like and are open to the public, I would also be grateful to know. Any help is appreciated.

Ask in this thread

"Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!! "

There are alot of different riding areas in WA.....as far as dunes, there is also Beverly, but it can get boring really quick. And there is Juniper dunes over in Spokane, but it's on and off regarding the closures.

Are those the only places you have ridden?

How far will you drive on a weekend to ride?

Well, Moses Lake is pretty far, but I would go further if the riding was good.

Oregon may be a ittle far to travel for a weekend, but I'll try and get down there sometime. Is the area called "Oregon Dunes" like the "Moses Lake Dunes"?

There are 4 main riding areas down in Oregon....the closest is Sandlake and it wouldn't be to bad for a weekend trip. The others are Coos Bay, Florence, and Winchester???

Here is a site with many dunes riding areas.

Thanks for the link. I used to go to the dunes sometimes with my od quad, and with my new LE Predator I am going much more often. The Predator is great for donuts in the sand.

Also, the Sandlake dunes in Tillamook arne't too far away. Around 4-5 hours, and that is fine considering around this time of year getting over the pass to Moses Lake adds atleast an hour, so it is about the same distance.

You can also ride up at Walker Valley. I was just there on Saturday. It has trails branching from logging roads. If you want to drive south you can also go to acouple places down there.

Oregon dunes are way different than Moses Lake. Oregon is real sand, Moses is ash dirt!
