Any NJ riders know if this place is still open?? Used to go 3-4 times a year, but haven't been in a while due to rumors of getting shut down with dirt piles over the entrances. Hate to pack, load and drive for 2 1/2 hours and not be able to ride!

Thanks for the info!!

Exotic1 - nice web site!!!

Can you get your truck into Port Eliz. with out getting it scratched up?? I saw some nice ATV haulers on your site - wouldn't think you would get'em scratched up. Last time there, only the "main road" was open.

we get the trailer in no problem we crack 2 marker lights. but they are easy to fix. If you park on the main road that is where all the a%$holes park and fly by in 5 or 6th gear with out looking that is why people get killed there. some people just dont have any respect when they ride past you this is why we pull into the pit to get away from al the traffic. Also the people on the main raod are flying with no helments on real smart. It only takes one to ruin it for the rest.

I was told Forked River was a no-no because of all the police activity. We planed a trip but we diden't go because of all the rumers. So if you have been there lately and everything is quiet let me know.

Thanks

Forked River has been ok to ride, i have been there almost every weekend. Its so desolate there is nobody around to call the cops on anyone. I go through a few tanks of gas in one day. My favorite spot was Crystal lake, THATS where the cops were busting ***** because a jet skier drowned last year and they found 15 cars on the bottom of the lake back in September, insurance frauds. That place had THE best pits last year when the mining company was digging and there were 8 quads wide draggin in the big pit all the time. The pit is kind of worn down now and the whole place is severely wooped out, if anyone goes there park way back in woods out of sight. I'll check that place out soon and let you guys know how it is!
