Hey Grecoloco? Let me know went you guys are going to ride out here (newtonville).Maybe we can meet up some where and ride. If everthing is cool when we go out riding i can give you guys a place to park if you need it i live right in front of the railroad tracks takes you to all the trails and pits. I am only good on sundays. Later.

Hey Big55Sexy660R, check your messages, I sent you one. I am only able to ride during the daytime on fridays and saturdays though, any other day I have to wait until 3:00 when I get out of work, but I am up for riding. I know my way around there pretty good once I'm on the tracks. We south jersey guys should all get together.

Another good spot lost.
Anyhoo if your not afraid to get your truck dirty etc there are a ton of great spots just to the west, and all you really need to do is find an area that isnt too great for parking so that there is a better chance the pain in the **** rangers dont find your spot.
Here is a freebee for ya thats not far from recovery. Head west on 72 (approx 5 mi) to 539n for (aprrox 1-3 miles) and turn into the first large dirt road on your right (before the fire tower) and then take the first right till you find a nice med sized pit. The ranger **** patroll does find there way into the pit every so often (normally sundays) so be really carefull there, and be sure to park your trucks as far out of the way (and out of sight too) as you can, and remember these **** types drive around back there and know all of the easilly accessible roads so only be as obvious as you care to pay for etc.
It is well worth it though as there are literally miles of everything from fast (and unsafe if you ask me) fire roads to really tight and technical trails, and even some messy stuff when the weather is wet. The pit itself is cool too, and includes most of what you would expect from one, and there was even a small mx set up not too far from it also.
And before anyone biotches me out for givin dircections etc dont waste your time since the popo and the rangers know about most of our spots anyhow (including this one) and I am not going to worry about something that is already messed up to some extent because these knuckle heads are going to be there every third sunday anyhow (at least their old routine) .
The trick to riding at this place is in hiding your truck well. If you park out in the open your a sitting duck, but normally that is only an issue one day a month, and more poeple have ridden there than have been hassled anyhow. If you drive deeper into the woods a few minutes and just hide your stuff well you should be able to ride the area all you want, but just use your head and dont stop to talk with any official looking types in 4x4's. I guess this makes sense for most of the places too.
If I get time I am planning on posting info to several other spots on offroadnj.com later tonight too.
good luck and have fun!!!
