Around 700 acres. The sand area is around 320 acres. There are lots of trails and mud areas for the utility bikes. But most of us with sport quads stay around the drag area.

Hey BigDS, I haven't been to LA Dunes in over a year. I think the older guy you're talking about is JJ. He was always up there when we used to go a lot a few years ago. Unless, of course you consider 36 to be old then yeah that was me

Well I am a Louisiana Rider and plan on taking a trip to Camp Enduro right outside of Leesville. We are going on Monday February 20th should be around 5-10 bikes out there. I believe that day is some sort of holiday. Anyone interested??

Hey Prairie, I'd start looking for a different place to go since the trails are closed now due to the recent rain. Check out the Kisatchie National Forest website for details/updates: http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/kisatchie/ We camped/rode there a little over a month ago and had a blast. As soon as the Enduro or Claiborne trails open up again we're going camping/riding. But, who knows when that's gonna be since it's supposed to rain this weekend.
