Just wanted to bs with some MO riders. Anyone else sick of the cold? How bout Memorial Weekend plans? Anyone going to try riding new areas this year? Thinking about Little Sahara, never been before. I've pretty much rode Deepwater (Clinton,MO) and Finger Lakes (outside Columbia, MO) to death.

 

Yeah the cold weather has got to go. We are going to St. Joe the 23-26 of this month. Never been there before, but I have heard alot of good things about it. I have been to deep water and Columbia. Columbia seems to be nothing but ruts and mud holes anymore love riding ar deep water. We go to little Sahara about 3 times a year hoping to be heading there in about 2 months or so. Other then that I ride at my cousins house has 40 acres in Odessa has some nice trails and making a motorcross track as well. Next week is supposed to be nice I heard 60s make for a good weekend to ride.

 

I'll be glad to see this cold weather go also.If the weather permits a few of us are riding at St.Joe March 4th.maybe you guys can make it also.

the lakes never get enough ice on them not cold enough long enough

 

So far the weather this winter hasent been cold enough to freeze. We'll have weather in the 60s almost pushing 70 then the next day its 20, like today. I've never done any ice racing sounds like fun.

I've only been to St. Joe once, I had a pretty good time. The sand was too flat for me, great for top speed and drag racing. I got bored too quick. Watch out for the hugh rocks on some of the trails. I did find this sweet place back in the woods, theres a big hill with a kicker about 1/4 of the way up. I was hitting the kicker about 3rd or 4th gear, launching up the hill. Weeeeeeeeee.

Buddies and I usually spend most of our time at Deepwater, its the closest. I do think someone need to get a group together and fix up the trails. The ruts are getting pretty bad, about like finger lakes mud holes every 5 feet, and whats with people driving hundreds of miles to cut dones and ride wheelies in the parking lot.

 

there a good ridein spot where i live some people might have heard of it as the Tiff mill or Tiff Lake or Palmer alot of jeep riders come here good ridein just have to watch out for tree pigs but i nevcer see them out there u can ride all weekend and not cover all of it its got trails,Big hills,mudd jumps everythign u can think of
