Yea, I live near N. Attleboro. Wrentham is definitely shut sown. May 1st is here. Take a ride to Western Mass, you're closer than us. (if you can afford the gas) I ride out of a friends back yard, lots of land, but I DO plan to take several trips to the big (legal) trails. This is my 1st year and I'm learning a lot about rideing in the wrong places ruining it for all the other riders. The people that complain, just don't get it. God forbid someone else have some fun. There was a recent fire this weekend in the Attleboro woods. They are saying it was either a cigarette or an ATV that caused the fire. Slowly but surely they are shutting us down. Thats why we CAN't ride in the illegal locations were just gonna make it worse. They think we're all bad people that destroy the forest. And now with the price of gas they have us by the *****. All I can suggest is keep looking around for trails off the highways, try to find out who owns the land and try to get permission. lots of trying. id love to go out west but its to long of a ride and i cant handle all of the rocks and mud with my raptor 660 and there is some places around here and ur good to ride as long as you dont stop for the cops and find a leagle place to park. your right people just dont get it atving is my anti drug na dit consumes all of my time and money so i have no time or money to get into trouble. i have been out to savoy (how ever it is spelt) and it is rocky my dad had alot of trouble on his drz250 and it was a change for me. i think that mostly all of the state forest around here are rocky with one exception georgetown state forest it is awsoem it has trails straights aways mud and last time i was up there there was a track right off a trail but i have recently heard that the trail was blocked but if you are looking for a place to ride thats a nice place to start off your year and the people there are really nice.

Hi, why don't you save some of the money you are spending on the Raptor and get yourself a 4x4. he he We got a Sportsman 500, it screws but yea, it doesn't make it throught them tight spots. My Hawkeye does. I haven't even opened mine up all the way and I've reached 42mph. on my Hawkeye 300. Gets you through more trails then a sport. Don't get me wrong, speed is more fun but I'm a chick. Me and speed don't mix. ( And I didn't want to be limited to certain trails. Especially spending that kind of money on 2 ATV's and a 2 place trailer. wow! and now gas $$$ wtf.
