st.joe?

I was hoping to make it to st.joe memorial day weekend. That might not happen.I'm to the point that I might not even ride this year.
Actually,I'm sending the rest of my motor to Jeff.He suggested doing some more work to it.Hopefully it will just delay it another month but that's a big maybe. With as long as this is taking and the money I'm putting in it,I better need extra shorts every time I ride this money pit.The extra motor work isn't absolutely necessary but I've got so much tied in it that I want every horsepower I can get out of it.Just venting.

Hey Dallas, You have been waiting a really long time for your parts. Whey to long IMO. How long has it been 4 or maybe 5 months? That's just not right.
If I was you, I would pick up the phone and put some pressure on who's ever been dicking you around. Tell the guy to get it done or send you your parts back with a refund. And if he says he going to get it done, make him give you a date that you will get you parts or money.

I totally hear what you're saying.I'm going to let Jeff finish this motor. If it runs terrible then I'll not use him again, but I know he does awesome work it's just that he's slow as christmas.I did try to put a little pressure on him and this is where I'm at.I'm going to be posting about going to st.joe memorial day weekend.Maybe if everyone knows I'm waiting on him then that might have him hurry up.

My thought.....Its been way to long.....
I have built several engines in that time....
Hopefully that is the baddest 350 anyone has ever seen....
Even if he had to Port a stock set of virgin cylinders...
True-weld crank
Cut override
Port cases
Thats about 1-2 weeks worth of work...
If He's got a heavy work load...
Maybe 1 month...

Matt, once I get it totally dialed in,if one of your 350's consistantly beats me you might see my # on your caller I.D. if I ever recover from all the money I've spent.I think it will run really good.Just have to wait and see.I do agree that it's taken way too long.
