Is there anywhere good in Illinois to go ATVing? Particularly, from around the Chicago area? What about lower Wisconsin? I'm basically looking for places within two hours or so.

There is no where in IL except some MX tracks. Bong rec. area in burling wisc. is the place i usally go to. there are only 7 miles of trails though. it is located in burlington Wisc. Right over the IL, Wi border.

 

Hey Loofer, where is Normal, IL compared to Chicago? Where do you usually go to ride? Bong Recreation area is within an hour or so from here, that sounds OK.

Do you ever go to Michigan or the Badlands to ride? Anywhere else, especially in Illinois or close by is appreciated.

I go to school in Normal which is about 3 hours south of chicago. i live in Arlington hts. which is about 40 min north of chicago. i have been to silverlake sand dunes twice and i love it there. i will be going at least 3 or 4 times next summer. i have never been to badlands but hope to get there too. its hard for me to go places becuase i lost all my riding buddies. they all moved away for college and my one buddy got his warrior stolen!!

 

hey i live out in joliet and been to bvadlands alot its a nice place..i usally go to momence IL and theres a big sand dunes area where alot of people go. give me an email and i can help you out

 

Casey has an awsome MX track and the wood are also great. Its $50 for a year membership. I like it better than the badlands.

where is this at and how far is it from Elgin IL ?

 

The only places I ride are Attica and Tilton but Tilton isnt really public, its more of a local hangout for the atv group but not really worth more than a 30 min drive if that. I am also lookin for people to ride with around the Danville area, it seems like I see 4-wheelers all the time on trailers but the only ones I ever see being riden are the people I'm with, so if your ever lookin to ride around here sumtime e-mail me and you can go with my group.

I have seen you at the badlands. I have a cobra pipe I took off my 220 because it was too loud for the farm. Its hardly used and I thought you might want it but I have not been able to catch you there. I would take 10$ for it if you are interested.
