This weekend 19th of may 2006, my son and I travled to Columbine campground and road on the trail system there. The elevation was 7000 to 11,000 ft. These are all 4 wheel drive rocky trails the system is very well done and we enjoyed are selves. We climed St. Mary glacier and had a blast. There is over night camping, and fishing at a privite lake. I felt that the trail system is well marked and moderate difficulty. it is on very dry and rocky with low pressure of other riders. This up coming weekend we will be traveling to the Arkansas river state park. If anyone out there would like more information on Columbine trail system please ask.
