Hey Bro, I live in GSO too, I head out toward Summerfield all the time, I do not have a atv anymore but I still have access to some dirtbikes, I have a pickup on 44's but I cannot find anywhere good to run it. I know a place in summerfield where you can go offroading though with a truck or atv. But I warn you from expereince, some things are pretty deep, and with all the rain we have had it will only be worse. I buried my jeep back there once because I could not see ahead, and even if I had I would have had no idea how insanely deep it was. I will write up some directions to this place later, it is late for now. This place is along the pipeline and is technically illegal, but there is a guy who has a long dirt driveway that takes you down to the place. He is kool with anyone going back there, but if u get stuck don't bother asking him for help.
I actually do know where trailbusters is... lol I just remembered. Sorry for the bs typing. It is on Bunch Road, Go on bunch... say your heading from Northwest School RD. Go to the end and make a right, go down the road a ways, and look for a big fence, somewhere near there it will say Bandera Farms. Go back there. Go back to the right. Only downfall is they are very strict, due to the cop's cracking down harshly. You gotta have someone over 18 with u all day (assuming ur not 18) and you have to sign a waver... They also do not allow two strokes on sundays...
Glad to help u in anyway I may have.

Man, I didn't think I'd hear a response on this thread. I posted something on ATVNC.com but got push back from everyone telling me you can't ride there anymore etc. Then I see a guy at Harris Teeters with his ATVs loaded and he said he was going to Trail Busters. Maybe I'll head out there this weekend to check it out (Well over 18, but wish I still was). Have you been to Unwharrie yet with your truck as I hear that's good for trucks and ATVs? I've been going to Wolf Island in Reidsville a lot since it's close, but that guy has to do maintenance on the trails. Thanks for the directions though, that's the most I've gotten in 10 months of searching.

Kaptap, we really need to get together and hit Uwharrie beforethey close up for trail maint. this year. I went with some buds up to Danbury on Mon.. A place called Forest Games. Pretty good riding if you have a 4X4. stopped raining about twenty min. before we got there. Kinda reminded me of Uwharrie only a little rougher in spots. Haven't been to Wolf Island in a while, last time we were there, I almost slid into the rainwashed gulley at the end of the whoops. If your free this Sat., give me a call and maybe we can line somethin up for Sun.

Hooty - Haven't forgotten about going to Unwharrie with you and your friend. I have a friend who bought a '07 Rincon just after we spoke last. We rode Wolf Island twice and it's been in the shop since. The oil cap came off and got water in the engine in one of the mud pits at wolf island. It's been in the shop for a month. We may go to Wolf Island or Trail Busters on Sat. or Sun. if he gets it back. I also had my tire come off the rim at Wolf Island the last time I rode their, so need to test that and his Rincon before we head to Unwharrie. I'll know by tomorrow night what we're doing and will let you know.

Bigtime - Thanks for the map of Unwharrie. Would be cool to ride with trucks and ATVs...haven't done that in years.

Parts of trail busters are now closed (the race track section) as the land will be developed next year. They're still open to the public, but no 2-strokes on Sundays.
