Riding in/and around Maryland
Hi, I am in the process of purchasing an ATV. I rode a couple out in Cali and just fell in love with them. I rode a 97 Banshee and a 96 Warrior and I love them. I live in Glen Burnie, MD and have been searching all over the WEB. But all I find is places you have to pay to ride. That F***ing sucks. In cali you can ride for free. Are there any places near Baltimore county where you can ride for free?

Howdy Relent,
Riding close to you is tuff to find. Its all 1 or more hrs. away and will cost you a minimum of a state forest pass (approx. $25 bucks). The areas are as follows: Michaux St. Forest near Chambersburg and Getteysburg (1hr 20 mins.), Buchanon St. Forest Pa. (2 and 1/2 hrs.), Mountain Ridge Resort near Johnstown Pa (3, 1/2 hrs), Green Ridge St. Forest, near Cumberland Md. (3 hrs.), Allegheny Lodge, New Creek WVa (4 hrs.). All the "non state" areas charge a fee which is more expensive than State Forests. There may be a few more but they're all on "ATVPathfinder.com. The best riding is in southern WVa. Check out ATVWV.com . Good luck and good riding.
