Va riders

Hi, I too am planning to go to Slades soon with son or another group which comes first. I have been to private land in Northumberland and six times to Hatfield McCoy trails in west virginia, it is awesome out there. I'm out here in Mathews County, Hard to find places to ride with my group due to all the other "renegade" riders there tear everything up. There is an atv club in mechanicsville va, they seem to be nice hve talked to president when I had thought about joining, but I hve my own bussiness and just barely have time to ride as it is. King Quad 700, ramsey remote winch, Mud Lite xtrs, mts trunk, moose hand guards, custom front and rear bumpers, uni filter 2" receiver hitch. Yamaha Grizzly 125 , komatsu 70 (pink)

Va riders--
I'm trying to organize an ATV Connection group ride. It looks like our two near by options are Slades and South Pedlar. Pedlar is normally closed until April leaving Slades as our choice. Lets try to ride saturday Mar 3. That gives everyone a month to get their atvs ready. Reply to this tread if you are interested. Check out their site www.sladespark.com for park rules and locations. I have not been to Slades but I figure they will accomadate a diverse group of riders. This group ride is not about who has the fastest atv or the baddest machine. It should be about having fun and meeting new riders. Bring a good attitude and a be ready to offer a helpful hand.

I'm going as soon as I can catch a 50degree sunny day even if during the week. And I hope it's soon. Ain't had a good ride in about two weeks. As long as it has four wheels and an engine who cares who has the biggest ride, as long as you have the freewill to enjoy it. I miss my little recon it was a fun bike, but needed something bigger and better ride.

If yall do make it out to slades on the 3rd Ill try an make it.. I live about 10 minutes from there near the jamestown ferry... The only thing that may keep me from being there is that the 3rd is the last weekend before mud racing season starts and we got a bunch of trucks out in dinwiddie to get ready to race. Ill post a link to some of the pics from our last slades ride back on labor day... theres something out there for everybody, I think itll be a good time for all especailly if youhavent ever been there before...

jhama-- I have seen those pictures before and have ridden with some of those guys. Wimmer, Chris, Patty, Jason and a bunch of others came out to Dinwiddie to ride with me . Wimmer took that 3 wheeler through more mud holes that most of the 4 wheelers in the group- crazy dude-. Chris said Slades was a good time. Hope you can make it.
Our group ride is growing larger by the week- (2 confirmed, 2 mights, 0 heck nos, 4-5 of my riding buddies) March 3rd, Slades park- Post here if you can make our ATV connection group ride
