Southern Indiana! Were To Ride?
#1
Another guy and I are looking for places to ride fairly close to the bloomington area. Although willing to drive up to an hr away if its worth it. We usually go with his cousins which is rarely anymore. They either are hard to get motivated or they get up late or don't end up going. Kinda sucks because they arn't predictable even if they say they will doesn't mean they will. I am lookin for some people to ride with that when they say they will they will. I got my a new Recon Es 05 with a winch and only went out a few times because they are the only people that know good places to ride. I could probably invite the person over to their houses to if they do not mind. Couple of the places have had alot land.

one of the best places to ride is in attica called the badlands or haspen acres located in laurel IN. BOTH PLACES OFFer over 2000 acres to ride on and plenty of different terrain...hillclimbing, muddin, sand hills or just plain crusin thru the woods in the creeks

Ye these are all cool places to ride,Haspen acres also host a lot of sand drags, motocross and hare scrambles ,They have 2 nice motocross tracks, you can camp there and you can ride right up to your camp site and ride 24 hours a day Yee Ha ,woods are extreamly tight and rocky but fast, they also have a little store there, check the weather,You dont want to go near there if they have had rain,I am totaly SERIOUS,

yea Tundar is right...rain=no fun to ride unless you have a utility quad with BIG fenders. I unfortunatly had to ride ny raptor 660 and let me tell ya its not worth it riding in all the mud and I mean it is sticky mud and it will break your fenders if not careful..the mud is that heavy.

You also may want to check with the SE Indiana Quad Abusers, an ATV club from around the Lawrenceburg/Aurora area. They may be able to help you find a place to ride. quadabusers.com A fella by the name of Brad (eiger2) can help you out. Good luck.
