sand in the rain?

sand in the rain?
Anyone tell me how riding is on Oregon dunes in the off season? It's pretty foggy sometimes in the summer when we go. I am from western Washington so cold and damp is okay with me. I am just wondering what the sand is like. I would imagine there are less people there too.

LOTS of traction with the paddles. Be careful on the hill climbs and tree shoots. The front end will come up fast.
Riding in the rain at Belfair (Tahuya) is completely different than riding in the rain at the dunes.
I would recommend getting one of those face guards to wear inside your helmet. It's no fun having the rain hitting your face at 40 mph!
Make sure you have a place to dry your riding gear too!
Way fewer people except during the holidays, the campgrounds will fill up then.
