I just wanted to know if there was anyone going to Sahara this weekend or if anyone knows what the sand is like.. Hate it when it's powder!!!!

 

Me and a group of about 10 riders are going this weekend(3/9-11)...I will be there early Friday and the rest of the group will
be rolling in from Friday night to Saturday...I will be riding solo until they arrive...I am looking for other folks to ride
with until they arrive and/or after they arrive....It's always more fun rolling in packs at LS....Unsure of the sand conditions,
but I do know there is aslight chance of rain on Friday...If it rains the sand get a little rough, but it usually drys out fairly fast....

We are all planning on gettin there Friday afternoon. There is going to be about 10 or 12 of us... I don't think that anyone would mind if ya rode with us... As for the rain... LET IT RAIN!!!!! That just means that the sand is a little more packed and theres water holes out there somewhere!!!

 

I sent you a private message with my details....It would be more fun and safer if I could ride
with some other people until my group arrives late Friday or early Saturday....
I am off work Friday and the others will be coming down after work....
And it's always great meeting new riders to ride with... Which camp do you guys
usually stay in? I prefer North, but it's usually always full...South is just as good,
just a little more crowded...

 

How was the sand on your trip. We were thinking of going in the middle of April

 

The sand was great when we were there but if they don't get more rain it's going to be like powder... It was raining when we were leaveing Sunday so if they keep getting rain then the sand will be even better... I don't like it much when it's like powder. Well, have fun and enjoy...
