I'm here at Ft Leonard Wood, Mo for 2 weeks and looking for a place to putt around. I brought my quad with me hoping to pound some new trails.
Anyone nearby wanna ride or know of a place.

I called a place called Fullthrottle ATV Park. They have track but are still working on the trails and haven't opened them yet. A local Honda dealer said about a place called Chadwick near Springfield.

Also, I read something about needing a Registration but I think my Military ID and a out-of-state address may help me there.

Any response would be cool. OR, if someone wants to ride would be better. My weekends are free to ride. I can't sit in this Hotel for 2 weekends

If you like to ride in a wide open place with a lot of sand then St. joe is the place. It's an old lead mine area that pretty cool. If you want to ride some of the best trails anywhere then you need to go to Suttons bluff in reynolds county. You can ride on the county roads till you see a forest service trail marker and then go for it.
How long are you here for and what are you doing at the fort? Are you traning there? Are you sure you will have weekends free? I hate for you to come to some of the best riding country in the USA and not get to ride here.

I'm at FLW for some additional training on some equipment. I've been in 18 years and not a trainee. I'm just here TDY. So my weekends are free. I really don't want to ride by myself. Not cool in case something happens. I was talking to some of the civilians here who use quads for hunting and they said if you don't know the trails, you'll be lost for a day or 2 till you find your truck. I'm willing to drive to either St Joe or Chadwick. I'm just worried about this registration thing. I really don't need a confrontation w/ a warden. I just wanna ride, wanna ride, wanna ride, wanna ride!!!!!!!!

Someone must wanna ride.

well, from the the post date and time, I guess you meant on Fri. Unfortunately, yes on Friday. For how long, I don't know. But I will be off sat/sun.

I'm thinking of going to ST Joe or Chadwick. I just need to find them.

went to St Joes today and had a friggin blast. Imay go back down tomorrow. If anyone is going and reads this, lemme know and I may head back down. Let me know what kind of rig your driving and I'll look for you.
I'll be in a red 06 Silverado 4 door with a bunch of stickers on the back window...; 101st Airborne, Air Assault, Engineers, NHRA, etc, etc. and a dirty Z400.
