Just got done riding Copper Ridge two weeks ago, and trying to get my Raptor ready for the rest of the ATVing season. Trails at Copper Ridge were real decent even though it had rained just about the whole week before the ride.

There's a lot of logging going on around here, and I haven't checked out the legal trails lately. From where I hear the skidders, I know they have to be on part of the trails. The only thing I know is open, is trails on the reservation. Too bad they're still confiscating non-native owned wheelers.

Trying to get my friends to go to Majestic on the 19th, but it looks doubtful.

Rew VFD is throwing another run with ATV Traction? Did they have one last year? I didn't know about it.

Just hope they submitted the idea with council this time.

Last time they were trying to host a ride, they didn't put it through council until 2 weeks before the ride was supposed to happen, and it got shot down. Word was out pretty heavily that they were having a ride, and then a lot of people showed up not knowing the ride was cancelled.

 

I called yesterday, and yes it's a go.

Parking will be at a different place since the casino is there now, but that's no prob.

Get off of exit 20 like you're going into town, take first left, and keep going straight until you get to parking. There's supposed to be signs up.

I'll definately be there.

 

You turn onto the road across from burger king.I talked to them today and you can register earlier than 10 if you want.You may go out on the trail once you have registered.You don't have to wait until 1:00pm.I will be there!There is some old trail and new.and it includes lunch.

So...

How did the run go?

We turned on the road to get to parking, and was welcomed by the guy I contacted about the dice run. He told us what was going on. The nearest place to turn around was clogged with people turning around also, so we went a bit further. There we were greated by Seneca Nation Marshals who told us that the ride was shut down, more Marshals were waiting at parking, and if we attempted to even unload our quads they would be confiscated. We were forcefully turned around, and the guy we met earlier told us they were just blowing smoke, and couldn't do a thing because it was all his land the dice run was being held on.

Did the run actually happen?

We didn't risk it, and went to Duke Center instead.
